Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how IELLO TECH SRL ("IELLO TECH", "we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal data when you visit the Spectors website (the "Site") or contact us through it. It also explains your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and Romanian Law no. 190/2018.
This policy covers the Spectors marketing website only. Use of the Spectors platform itself, once acquired, is governed by a separate agreement and its own data-processing terms.
1. Who we are (the data controller)
The data controller for the personal data described in this policy is:
- IELLO TECH SRL
- Registered in Romania
- Trade Register no.: J40/12189/2021
- Sole registration code (CUI): 44593082
- Registered address: Str. Argentina nr. 25, parter, sector 1, 011753 București, România
- Contact for any privacy matter: contact@iello.tech
If you have a question about this policy or wish to exercise your rights, contact us at contact@iello.tech.
2. What personal data we collect
We collect only the data you choose to give us, plus limited technical data needed to deliver and protect the Site.
a. Data you submit through the contact form. When you fill in our contact form, we collect:
- Name — so we can address you personally (required);
- Work email — so we can reply to you (required);
- Company / organization — so we understand who is asking (required);
- Optional details you may add: your role, approximate fleet size, the industrial protocols you use, your intended deployment target, and a free-text message describing what you are trying to do.
Please share only what is relevant to your enquiry. Do not include special categories of personal data (for example health, political or religious information) in the free-text message — it is not needed to answer you.
b. Technical data. Like any website, when you visit the Site our infrastructure processes limited technical data — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — to serve the Site and keep it secure. This is handled at the edge by our hosting provider (see §5).
c. Cookies. We use a small number of cookies, described in our Cookie Policy.
We do not run advertising or third-party tracking, and we do not build marketing profiles from your visit.
3. Why we use your data, and our legal basis
We use each category of data for a specific purpose, under a specific GDPR legal basis:
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Respond to your enquiry / pricing request and, if relevant, discuss whether Spectors fits your needs | Contact-form data (§2a) | Art. 6(1)(b) — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract. Where no pre-contractual relationship arises, Art. 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in responding to business messages addressed to us. |
| Keep a record of the enquiry and any follow-up correspondence | Contact-form data (§2a) | Art. 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in managing and evidencing our business communications. |
| Operate, deliver and secure the Site; prevent abuse and spam | Technical data (§2b), strictly-necessary cookies | Art. 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website. |
| Remember your preferences (e.g. language) and your cookie choices | Functional cookies | Art. 6(1)(a) — your consent (see the Cookie Policy), except where a cookie is strictly necessary. |
When you tick the consent box on the contact form, you confirm that you want us to use the details you provided to reply to you. This does not stop you from withdrawing at any time or exercising any of the rights in §7.
4. You are not obliged to give us data
Providing contact-form data is voluntary. If you do not complete the required fields, we simply cannot reply to your enquiry. There is no automated decision-making and no profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
5. Who we share your data with (processors)
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We use a small number of carefully chosen processors that act only on our instructions under a data-processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR):
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting of the Site (Cloudflare Pages), the serverless function that receives your contact form (Cloudflare Workers), the storage where a submission is briefly held (Cloudflare D1 / KV), and the routing that delivers your message to our mailbox (Cloudflare Email Routing). Cloudflare also provides edge security (protection against abuse and denial-of-service).
Your contact-form message is delivered to our mailbox at contact@iello.tech, where our team reads and answers it.
We may also disclose personal data where we are legally required to do so (for example, to comply with a lawful request from a competent authority).
6. International transfers
Our processor Cloudflare, Inc. is established in the United States and may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, that transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR — namely the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, Cloudflare's certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can request more information about these safeguards at contact@iello.tech.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — obtain confirmation of whether we process your data and a copy of it;
- Rectification — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- Erasure — have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten"), where the conditions apply;
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data in certain cases;
- Portability — receive the data you gave us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format;
- Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)), including at any time on grounds relating to your situation;
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent, withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal;
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (see §10).
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@iello.tech. We will respond within one month, as required by Art. 12(3) GDPR; where a request is complex we may extend this by up to two further months and will tell you if we do. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Exercising your rights is free of charge, except for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
8. How long we keep your data
We keep your contact-form data only as long as we need it:
- If your enquiry does not lead to a business relationship, we keep it for up to 24 months after our last contact, then delete it.
- If it does lead to a relationship, the data is retained under that relationship and its own terms.
- Technical logs and security data are kept for short, rolling periods by our hosting provider for security and diagnostic purposes.
Cookie lifetimes are listed in the Cookie Policy.
9. Analytics and future changes to processing
The Site does not currently use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking technologies. If we introduce privacy-affecting technologies such as web analytics in the future, we will update this policy, add the relevant entry to the Cookie Policy, and — where the law requires it — ask for your consent through our cookie-consent manager before any such technology runs.
10. Supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority if you believe we have not handled your data lawfully:
- Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP)
- B-dul General Gheorghe Magheru nr. 28–30, Sector 1, 010336 București, Romania
- Email: anspdcp@dataprotection.ro
- Web: www.dataprotection.ro
We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concern first — please contact us at contact@iello.tech.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to make the change visible on the Site. Please review it periodically.
